Iceland. I hear they make cool cars.
Seriously, according to auto journalists (and who says they know any better

), GM makes some of the most solid and reliable cars these days. Unfortunately, we won't know if this statement is true until "these days" becomes 10, 15, 20 years. I've owned a lot of GM cars in the distant past and almost all of them were garbage. In '88, I bought "The Best Vette Yet". It was in the shop ever other month. In '90, I bought "The King of the Hill" Vette, the BEST one every built. It too, was in the shop every other month. Warranty? If you think paying them their $100.00 deductible every time I took it in was cheap, you've got a different opinion of "covered under warranty" than I. They might make good cars today, but "God forgives! I hold a grudge damned near forever!" Good thing I never owned one of the first Hondas in this country. You don't forget these things and it takes a lot for them to make up for what they did years ago. Oh, and don't get me going about Ford.
