Topic: I saw a GTR Skyline in Guelph today!

IT was white, in great shape, had right hand drive and was really sweet!

I gave the driver a major thumbs up and it was cool seeing a car that I had only experienced via Grand Turismo on my PS2.

I wonder how much $ the owner had in the car or what hurdles he went through to get it here. If he had of turned into a parking lot I would have been tempted to chat with him for a few minutes. As it was he turned off of Stone Road and I was headed into a different direction.

That may be the last Skyline I see until a car show or something. Man was that ever cool!

Well-kept GTRs demand anywhere from $20 000+ out here.  Might be higher out East, since there's more effort involved in getting one (namely, getting it from Vancouver to Guelph).  You can import a bagged GTR for about $10 000, but no sane person would do it...

Buddy of mine's brother had a Skyline GTS-T for a while.  Beautiful machine...

I've seen several Skylines around town, usually on the DVP or Highway 7.

The wheels were a brushed aluminum sort of look. I guess I need to keep an eye out more as some of you have seen several of these. I still say it is a cool car to see because it is fairly rare and is probably a nit iconic in Japan. It would have been neat to cruise with him a bit if I was in the Chevelle but I was in the Yaris which was probably down about 200 hp versus the Skyline. The tailight treatment was pretty cool!
