Great choice 2 hondas!! ... errrr, 3 Hozda, hehe!

Like others have said, I also love the look of the previous Protege 5s.

Man, this site is awful. Now I'm starting to think of excuses I could come up with for a 3rd car. Maybe if I had a kid.... Wait, I'll have to wait until the kid is old enough to drive it to school or something! - darn.  Grin

I can't see the pics here at work, but my wife owns a 2002 Protege5 (yellow) and I own a 2004 TSX (white).

No Odyssey yet in our stable. Wink

BTW: The Protege5's are GREAt little cars, just watch for rust as someone mentioned.  Get it sprayed annually and get some long-lasting grease stuff applied in the wheel well area if you can.

Thanks again!

Yes, the price we got it for was a STEAL. Similar priced P5's in Ontario have +100K's on them.
We got it tinted on Wed, and the rear hatch redone due to some rust. It looks great now! It will be in for a wax today.  Grin

I'd get a ZR-1...but the interior sucks.

I really like my P5 ('03 180k).  It's a much softer ride than the Mini...but very predictable and stable.  Solid is a great word to describe it.  From the first time I drove it, I felt instantly comfortable tossing it around.

I've kept it for much longer than I thought...thus the rust appearing around the rear wheel wells...my bad.

It sure is tough to justify a new car when this thing runs as well as it does...and is paid for twice over.

Some updated pics.  Smiley Wash, and applied some Nu Finish. 35% tint. Painted brake calipers black. Rear hatch repainted due to some rust. Looks like it matches well.

The P5 was only made for 2 years, and there are A TON of them on the road! It seems they are really popular. It probably influenced Mazda's decision to make the 3 Sport.
