Very few ppl understand the system that prevails in retail vehicle sales.  The system is not designed for the benefit of the customer because that would be contrary to good business. Get it.  :)

It is nice to have some options at least!

Want to hear something interesting (and obvious)? Just like everything else it all comes down to networking. My best option presently is due to an introduction and recommendation from an acquaintance of mine. One of the offers that I am examining right now is also partially due to knowing the manager.

Many of the opportunities that slipped through my fingers went to an internal candidate or to someone with some connections. Once I started to work my own contacts better things really got cooking.

Some great news on other fronts too! I just checked the OREA site again and I passed Phase 1! Now onto Phase 2 and beyond...
