How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

The X5 starts at $61,9 and the X6 (with sunroof) at $63,9. Not bad. I'd say the premium is not all that much more, and figure the sexiness will appeal to a lot of poseurs people. The spread for the V8's is a little more though. |

Your article is much too kind! I'm a big BMW fan but....this thing looks like the Germans gave over the design to some country folk in South Carolina! Ever seen those "Red Neck" photos floating around? I saw it at the Auo Show and it's worse in real life than the photos. As some have said, "what a waste of an awesome power plant!" I could rant on.... |

You've never actually met anyone from the Carolinas, have you? Here's a little hint: don't stereotype entire populations based on photographs on the internet. I mean, I did a Google image search on the word "Canadians", and this is what I found: Do you think that's an accurate representation of your family? Seriously? |

Finally saw an X6 in the flesh yesterday at the local dealers.
My initial impressions were: - it is huge - the front and front/side view is much more appealing than the rear view - not sure exactly why I would buy an X6 over an X5 - not sure why I would buy either over the sedans unless it was a one-vehicle family with a need to carry large objects. |

I was downtown not long ago, and stopped by BMW to take a look at the X6 (and the much more appealing 135... ). The X6 is, without a doubt, one of the ugliest vehicles I've ever seen in my life. I hazard to say I would rather be seen in an Aztek. It's that ugly. |

I think it's one of the most gorgeous-looking SUVs/CAVs around... my neighbour has a Black one, and it looks great.

So you're the one. Anyway, to each their own. I generally think I should just agree to disagree regarding aesthetics with anyone in a 2006+ Civic anyway |
