I am in the market for tires for my 02 Camry V6. I am looking at P205/65R15 92T or 92H size. The three things I am looking for in a tire are:
- EXCEPTIONAL wet traction
- Quiet/Comfy Ride (absorbs bumps well)
- Long life
My Camry has 150K on it now, and would like to get a pair of tires that should last about another 100K easily. The tires I have put on the car so far were the following:
Michelin Energy LX4 (came with the car new): They handled decent, pretty quiet, and the wet traction was alright.
Michelin Energy MXV4+ (on the car now): They handle good on dry asphalt, but noisy, hard riding, and very slippery in the wet (still have 6/32" on the tires now).
I don't have a price limit, as I just want a tire that feels stable on rainy/slippery days. I have a pair of Michelin X-Ice for the winter, so snow traction is not critical to me (but nice to have). The tires that seem interesting so far are the following:
Michelin Harmony
Yokohama Avid TRZ
Bridgestone Turanza with Serenity
Can someone give me more info about the tires mentioned above, as well as other that would be good on my car? Again, they must meet these criteria:
- EXCEPTIONAL wet traction
- Quiet/Comfy Ride (absorbs bumps well)
- Long life
Thanks!
