A Good Time to Buy?
« on: April 03, 2008, 12:15:36 pm »
Just reading in this AM's Globe and Mail that RBC is forecasting the loonie to drift down to 90 cents by year end. Considering that consumer spending in the US appears to be dead and our doller is still hovering around .99 US this Spring may be the time to make your move if you're thinking of shopping for new wheels stateside. ;)
My first ever GM ownership experience  can best be described as   "Fool me once...."

IF IF IF the US economy rebounds. I'm not certain we've seen the bottom. I think there is still another shoe to drop and lending will decrease from the banks and other financial institutions.

BUT it could be a good time to pay cash south of border. Everything looks right to make the best possible deal (with cash).

Luckily my BOAT has a 3 cylinder diesel that burns about 2 litres an hour. ;D (Unlike some people I know with twin 454's  who burn about 2 litres a MINUTE:'( )
