Just thought I'd update on the fuel economy situation. I know I don't drive a 2.0 but anyhow I want to see if the 2.0 can do better.

So I filled up the tank last week and drove 100.5 Km according to the car. Went to fill her up again and put in 7.2 liters. That's 7.2 L/100.5 Km from a 2.5 Liter 177 hp car. Which is frankly amazing. I'd say for that 100km it was 75% city 25% DVP/401 during rush hourish times.

That sounds good, but I'm afraid that's a very inexact way of measuring fuel consumption.  There is a lot of room for error when filling up a tank, and the error is proportionally larger when you fill up with smaller quantities.  It would be much better if you looked at an entire tankful and even better if you were to average it out over a few tankfuls.

Brief update. Took the Sentra to a different dealer and they replaced the seat base. Only driven it once since and it seems to have fixed the problem. Except, they originally ordered the wrong base and then when they finally got the right base, they broke the headrest while installing it. *sigh* That means another trip to the dealer. Still hopefully they've fixed the problem for good!
