Alright guys, this is your chance to show the world (well Canada) how awesome we are!

I will be participating next Thursday and Friday (March 27th / 28th) at an event called catchthevibe.  This challenge requires help from my online community to help me solve problems, get clues and have fun!

I need your help!  We will be given blackberrys to post info but I have my own smart phone to get extra help with.  I have posted my twitter here below and  will be posting a twitter on the front page of CTC.

I am on TEAM PERFORMANCE (of course) Wink  And our team is already growing!

Visit this site: http://catchthevibe.ca/  to get more info and I hope you guys can help my team win!

I know... probably because I just signed up Monday.  I expect they are behind on the updates.  I am on that team though.

Oh and if I knew I would help you out Umro haha.  It seems to be a big secret. Wink  Basically I'll post updates by the minute with text messaging on the phone, perhaps questions people can answer -- I am assuming.

I'm sure you can help, but you probably can't win.....

By the way I believe my challenge day is the 28th (next Friday so good distraction on a Friday afternoon for all!).

f the team you joined to support wins the event, you’ll become eligible for the grand prize of a new, 2009 Pontiac Vibe for a year (approximate retail value of $6,000) or one of six BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8130 smartphones from Bell or one of four Sony VAIO TZ-Series notebook personal computers.

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

Thumbs Down  I hate those contests that claim you "win a car", but really it's a one-year lease...  not really much of a prize, imo.  Tim Horton's Roll Up the Rim to actually own the car.  I just need to win it, now.  Smiley

It's still access to a free car for a year that you didn't have otherwise.  Geez, some people are so greedy.

Technically it should be touted as "Win the use of a FREE Car!*"  with the * being tied into the mouse-type legalese at the bottom of the page.   Wink

I Agree That site is the worst I've seen in recent memory. That big semi transparent banner prevents you from clicking on almost half the screen. GM marketing=Fail.

Fair enough, and my complaint was mostly with the advertised "win a car!" as opposed to the reality of "win a one-year lease".  But even so, I can imagine a whole set of headaches introduced by "winning" this car.  Say you already have a car - do you keep both?  Now you need somewhere to park your actual vehicle while you drive the vehicle you "won".  If you sell your original vehicle, then you have to buy a new one after a year.  If you didn't already have a car, you get to drive around for a year, but then it gets taken away.

I'll keep buying my double doubles - I'm bound to win the Matrix eventually!  Cheesy
