Or if the rim cannot be fixed, try a junkyard, eBay, or Acura TL forums.

Maybe the windshield crack can be fixed too? :)

Windshield's poched, its not just a stone chip.. its a big chip with two 6 inches cracks .. my tire guy phoned a few local scrapyards, one guy had one but wanted 325$, might as well go new for the difference

The city of Toronto insurance will pay for your rim assuming it was in the city. You file a claim and show them pix or something and if that hole you hit is on their list it's covered. If it was in Durham check with them.

If you can track down the truck or something that threw the rock, you should be able to report him to the police and his liability insurance should pay for it.  I friggin hate trucks that don't secure their loads properly.

At least....that's how it SHOULD work.

didn't make it ... last night I get home and the hot water heater is leaking from the bottom, nothing to do with the pipes.. its 15 years old.. its being replaced today, the kicker is that Direct Energy showed us a new code for the venting of the high efficiency uints and they have to install new venting which is not covered for $150..

Oh well that makes 3 so we should be done now for a while I hope ::)
