Original Equipment Manufacturer (Toyota, in your case).  Your local tire shop will likely have some wheels on display.  American Racing is a popular truck & SUV wheel maker.

Mr. T:  Hi
My local places have diddly.  I have checked American Racing and they've got enough stuff to make your head spin.  However, as stated in my other post, I'd like to see some rims in person.  Pics can be deceiving.
Is there a place that I could go and look in person?  Whether it's Toronto or Brampton or Barrie or London...whatever.  I just need some suggestions. Thx in advance

Is there a Performance Improvements near you?  They usually have a wall display of wheels to choose from.

I take my winters off the first week in March.  At that point any snow we get is cleared up fast (save for the big dumping this year in Toronto) - and even then, the next days are usually mild and the roads are bare.
Indeed in the large southern ontario cities the snow is cleared fast and the roads are soon bare.  For those in southern ontario, the average daily temp in March for Windsor Ontario is 43 degrees.  I still have a foot of snow on the yard grass in this record-breaking year, but there hasn't been a trace of snow on the road all month except for one day last wkend.  Since then the temperature has been up in the 40's, and it's probably 60+ degrees on the sunny surface of the dry black asphalt.

The meltwater puddles still leaves icy patches around here... I'll do the Fit next weekend and the BM a week later

I plan on doing the Passat this weekend and the Odyssey next weekend.

I do one a weekend as I also do the "spring cleaning" detailing of the inside at the same time.  Takes me all day for one car.

Also, doing the Odyssey second as it's the wifes car and I would hate for a last second snow storm in the first-second week of April and getting critized for taking the snow tires off too soon  :o ??? ;D

Wow. WOW. I am amazed. The steering, corning, grip and overall road feel from the switch of 16' winters to 17' all seasons made driving VERY fun today.  ;D ;D

Also washed the car, and painted the brake calipers. The paint badly needs some buffing/wax though, as the previous owners used something equivalent to steel wool to wash the car ::) (we bought the car in December).

I am not taking off the performance winters(Nokian WR G2) from my car. Unless I buy alloys or a house to store them.

I am a bit surprised at the tires' different character in cold vs hot pavement. Still very well planted.

Mazda6's X-Ices came off 2 days ago.  Today it's snowing (wet snow)...  ::)   It only took a few minutes of driving with the MXM4s to be reminded how annoying they can be over bumps.

Speed6 M3s are scheduled to come off next weekend. Its summer wheels are indeed washed and waxed. ready for their tour of duty!
