Ok I am sure this will start some sort of flame war,but I thought trucks were suppose to be tough, not look like boys wearing high heels Anything over 18 inchs on a truck is not truck like.If one was to use a truck as should be used those "girly" rims would be dust. I guess all to her own

Indeed. I do agree with his thoughts, though. 16" rims are my personal limit. |

I like the drag queen analogy. I've always thought that lowering an F150 and installing 35 series tires on 20 inch wheels was just silly. |

Bigger trucks mean bigger brakes means and that means you need larger diameter wheels to clear them. |

I think he's talking about bling-bling rims, but his post is so poorly worded it's hard to tell. |

Sorry about the wording, yes I am referring to the "bling blong' wheels. To me and maybe only me but it just seems odd that a truck is suppose to be tough and take on the rough stuff with a decent sidewall, not with a roll of hockey tape. The bigger wheels for bigger brakes works for cars. Well unless we are talking NASCAR trucks but thats another odd thing |
