Saskatoon --- I want to take over short lease
« on: February 01, 2008, 05:36:24 pm »
hello,

I am looking at picking up a short term lease in Saskatchewan...
Probably around a year or so...
Am a university student so just want a good reliable car - honda, toyota, mazda etc
no trucks or suvs etc.
looking to pay under $400 a month for it... preferably under $300

any suggestions?
i already have been looking at swapalease and other trading websites, but nothing seems available.

Being a university student, do you know if you will qualify for the leasing co's credit requirements? Typically, to take over a lease, you have to meet the same credit requirements as required for a new lease. It's not as easy as just making the payments and driving the car.

Buy an old $5000 beater and drive it for a year?  ??? Then basically sell it for the same price later.
Mine: 2004 Acura TSX
