Roll Eyes  Sorry to burst your bubble, but there's no such thing as an unbiased or totally objective article.  Especially if it's a test drive...  everyone who drives the car will have a different idea of what constitutes "harsh suspension" or "loud road noise".

If you want an objective test drive, drive it yourself.  But as long as you're reading CD (or any publication), don't whine about it not being objective...

News flash - a test drive IS the reporter's OPINION on various aspects of the car.  Subjective preferences and broad experiences with other vehicles are going to inform that opinion.  Why would you expect it to be otherwise? You want pure objectivity? Read the spec sheet.  Scintillating stuuf, that.

Yeah, but did the writer of this article even drive the car?

In the whole article, I could find only one sentence that actually had anything to do with how the car drives:

"The drive-by-wire throttle system delivers precise and accurate inputs; the Si-exclusive sport-tuned suspension smoothes out the twistiest roads; and the electric variable power assisted rack-and-pinion steering (also an Si-only feature) does a wonderful job of totally eliminating steering wheel-twitch from the front-wheel drive Si."

Kinda lame, IMHO.  Tongue

The article is lame. Typical press release auto journalism. Is there really any information there about the car that you couldn't get reading the sales brochure? Puff piece is exactly what it is.

The writer appears to be a new one...I don't recall the name being on any other article here.  He's taken a few in the nuts with this crowd.

I'd love your opinion.
