Some pics of our 04' TSX.  Smiley About 58k. Previous owner bought it from her brother, and put on 12k in 2 years!  Shocked

The power and rear view mirrors were stiff, and so were the rear doors. Most likely weren't moved for a while! I am obviously not a pro photographer, so enjoy anyway!

Beautiful machine, and the interior colour is a very nice combo. I hope you enjoy it for many happy miles Thumbs up Beer

You got the best colour combo. Smiley With the exception of the colour of the backing on the steering wheel controls, which does not match well in a beige/wood interior TSX. Would be nicer in all black here IMO.
04-05 had better stock rims too, I think. Just slightly though.

Those silver steelies are nice! How much each?

Is the TSX now the most popular car among the regulars / semi-regulars on this forum? Huh Shocked

It's certainly in a heated battle with the Impreza and Legacy, if not!  Though with Mitlov selling the Legacy and this new TSX, Acura might have the upper hand now...  heh.

That TSX is quite a looker - love them in black.  They should hardly bother making them in anything but black and white.  Smiley

the tsx is the best honda to made in quite a long time.   it does almost everything well.  i love black cars but acura needs to offer it with both black interior and the tan.    i like the carbon grey too.    now drop the turbo from the rdx in there and make it awd.   Cool   by the way,  did i say that the tsx is the best honda to be made in quite a long time??

Very nice.  It looks good with the spoiler.  Maybe some lithium grease for the rear door hinges might loosen them up.

Is that you with the Sony digital camera in the shiny black reflection?  Smiley

Thank you for the comments!

Yes, I agree the TSX looks sexy in black. I wish it was an easy color to take care of, but it isn't.  Angry The TSX did have black TSX with ebony interior, at least in the States.

The 06'+ wheels look okay, but I prefer the 04-05' ones. I do like the front end of the 06'+ better though. CR-V steelies were $75 each new. Yeah, pricey, but $50 OEM steelies don't exist anymore. All are around $75 now anyways, and they are black. Dad liked the silver ones better. Going to see how much centre hub caps cost.

I am pretty sure the Mazda 3 is # 1 for regulars around here.  Smiley

Damn, I forgot to take a picture of the spotless engine bay. And yes, that is me in the reflection.  Shuffle How did you know it was Sony digital camera?   Huh Shocked

Great looking car dude, the interior is awesome. Have fun and enjoy it.

Too bad we don't have Acura in Brazil, I would love to drive on of these things, though I would never be able to afford one, at least, not here, ehehhehheh.

Yes that is a very nice looking car and properly fitted for the season. I see lots of competition for garage space too - I hope the garage is also a 'Scratch free Zone' - or else.

I think the interior has too much going on, black, tan, wood trim and then metal trim on the steering wheel
the wood trim looks out of place

Nice TSX! Any plans to have a JDM emblem swap i.e. Honda Accord badge at the rear?  Grin

Thanks. I would have thought the TSX would be the Accord in Brazil? I guess thats Europe and other countries only.

Thanks. Don't worry, our Odyssey which was parked inside is scratch free. The TSX was parked inside since we were doing some work on it.  Smiley

I am not a fan of the wood trim either.  Undecided

thanks. I was looking on Acura Zine, and many of the member's cars looked GREAT with the emblem swap. However, they did have other JDM mods. It would look out of place for our car.  Tongue

Basically a one owner car and no teenage drivers.  Thumbs up  Appears you made a really smart buy.  Car looks great and in 3 months or so all will be good again (for hot cars  Smiley).

Our Accord is the same as yours, we don't have the 2008 model yet.

Late to the party.

Always liked this car, I think the best car Honda/Acura sells here. Love the colour combo.  Smiley

Actually the TSX only came black on tan in the states, too. Sad  No black on ebony.

Agree on both counts.  I love my 2004 TSX and its OEM wheels, but like the grille on the 06-08's better.  However I don't like the integrated fogs with the 06-08's... I don't even know why. LOL!

I like the look of the silver steelies with the black car.  However for what its worth, I found that 2003 Honda Accord steelies from a Honda dealer were only $55 (16" size) here in Ottawa. Mind you that was 2 years ago.  Exact same part number as the Acura ones without the premium in price.

I think the TSX is damn close though. Wink  Someone post a poll: Legacy vs. TSX vs. Mazda3 vs. Impreza.  Grin

Thanks for the congrats!

Got the windows tinted today (35%), ATF and oil changed. Tomorrow we will change the air filter+cabin filter. Any ideas on good ones? Man, buying a used car is a PITA.

Unfortunately, there will be 4 drivers for this car.  Shocked Undecided Don't worry, it will be pampered.

Wolverine, how much is the Accord? Really expensive right?

UmroAyyar, I think the TSX is one of the best in the Honda/Acura lineup too Grin Wink

Curls, i actually like the integrated fogs! However, the fogs for the 04/05 look good for a Black TSX (Nighthawk Black Pearl i think), since the black housing would blend right in. I know what exactly your talking about for the steelies. We had a choice between the two.  Smiley

Acura actually has a good price (usually) on the air fitlers (both) and both are good.  If you can call Napa, get a Wix brand filter (sometimes sold under the Napa Gold name there).  They're expensive but very good quality.  That also goes double for oil filters -- extremely good quality.

Both the cabin and air filter are rediculously simple to change.  The only possible problem with the cabin filter is knowing how to release the little rod thing that stops the glove box from falling into your shins.  What you have to do is open the glovebox and then the rod on the right, if I remember correctly, will have a hook on on the top end I believe.  The thing takes a bit of force to get it to pop off, and please do yourself a favour and have something or someone ready to catch the glovebox so it doesn't smash your shin. Smiley  Emptying the glovebox first is a good idea too. Wink
