The exterior looks excellent apart from the badges where I guess the wanted to copy toyota as well. Of course a diesel engine would be welcome for NA.. As far as the interior goes I like it but would rather have all the aluminum replaced with dark wood to make it properly "Lexurius" |

I think this thing would be a hit in any market but I fear Mazda will pull a Ford Focus on us. |

When is the redesigned 6 supposed to hit NA showrooms and as what year model? Mazda.ca isn't giving information that I could find. |

Yes. Door handle with aluminum accent. What's wrong? Yes, I can see aluminum, but why is it vertical? It looks like it is placed close to the middle, so I doubt it makes for a comfortable armrest. I mean its nothing more than a speculation now. Hopefully in Japan they knew what they were smoking, as if it really is a flaw it would be very untypical for them. |

Heavy doors perhaps? Heavy is good. Its a sign of quality. If it breaks you can always hit him with it. |

and we should ask our police members. the handle appears to be well placed for handcuffs, assuming the criminal is attractive |

The TSX is the same way, too many controls on the driver side means no handle at all, just the little one that "fits" inside the armrest/control-panel thingy. |

As an identified Mazda fan...I dunno...it looks less distinctive to me.
The rear looks identical to a Sebring for heaven's sake!! It certainly doesn't make me want to wait for this model to come out. |

Unfortunately, The 5 door hatch in the pic looks a lot like the Seabring's rear. Maybe it's just the angle. But otherwise I like the look. Glad to see the wagon isn't killed just yet. |

It seems somehow less unique to me. When the current 6 came out, it was distinctive, but with this rendition, I fear Mazda is doing a bit more copy-catting than I might like. At least they still have the distinctiveness of the sport-tourer/wagon which to me, is still a great FWD alternative to the Legacy wagon. |

New Mazda6 will be hitting North American dealerships at the end of 2008, as a MY2009. U.S. Mazda will release details of the new N.A. Mazda6 in the spring. http://autoshows.ford.com/176/2007/10/01/high-design-with-the-sporty-2009-mazda6/ |

I really like the exterior of the ROW Mazda6, except for the sedan and hatch's rear. Somewhat bland and the lights are too busy. I LOVE the wagon all-around.
Interior has advanced from current gen but something about it makes me think I'll be disappointed in the plastics in person. |

I have the same thought. The exterior is Lexus like but the interior looks like it didn't escape the wrath of the Detroit "value-appropriations" squad. |

Mazda6 has been rated #1 for the past 3 years by Germany's largest automotive magazine AutoBild's 100,000 km Endurance Test involving a full strip-down at the end, the old Mazda 6 emerged completely fault-free. http://media.ford.com/newsroom/feature_display.cfm?release=25487 |
