Momo Winter Wheels
« on: December 17, 2007, 04:49:34 pm »
Hello everyone,

Right now, we have our stock OEM alloy wheels mounted to our snow tires, for our Accord. They are in rough shape, stripping, nuts rusting, etc. Thats why they are used for our snows.

So, we might be getting new alloys (keeping the stock 15' size). I saw these wheels on Discount Tire's site. Momo "Winter" wheels, which are designed for winter conditions, but we are gonna use them for summer use.

$89 US each. $100 off if we mount them on our tires. We would pick them up the states, during our 2 day trip in Michigan. Good buy or bad? I believe Momo is an Italian company, according to the tuners out there. :)

Look good to me!!  Should work out just fine.  Though they are likely kinda heavy for an alloy wheel.  But should have no worries...

Just be sure to call ahead to Discount and see if they have them in stock at a store for the same price.  They tried to do a "switcheroo" on me once with raising the price on an in-stock wheel vs. their web price...

I'm in Windsor...if you want to meet for a drink while in town, send me a PM....

Thanks! They do look good, not too flashy and most "OEM" looking.

Question...how do I know these will fit properly? All I know is my wheels are a 4 bolt pattern.

I just put in my vehicle year, make and model, and discount came up with 15X6.5 4-114.3 40S.

Edit: Just called a location in Troy, MI. Only 2 of the wheels left throughout the USA.  :'(

Sorry for this off topic and for my lack of knowledge, but what differentiates this wheel from any other wheel? I mean, what in this special one makes it proper for winter?
