Don't cloud the issue with facts  ::)

You're correct Cord. My apologizes. Though your numbers are off according to blackbook:

Current wholesale w/20kms: $28,947
Depreciation: $10752, 27.1%

Hmmm, I don't know where you are getting your data from. Mine is from CBB's online site. I've attached the data for a Murano w/o Nav. The MSRPs on CBB can't be taken as totally accurate because they don't change when different options are added or deducted.

I'm going through the Toyota website to get to Black Book. I'm using the Ford and Nissan press releases for MSRP.

Anyhow I'm wrong.

I'm shocked at how much the Murano's drop. Didn't they just have an article on here saying how well the Murano holds its value?

More proof that depreciation, like reliability, must now be judged on a model-by-model basis, not merely on name-brand.  I think that the days where you could judge either criteria simply by brand name alone are over.
"Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder. What unites us is far greater than what divides us." -- John F. Kennedy, addressing Canadian Parliament.

Being at the end of its life cycle with redesigned model out has to impact residuals too.

Generally the more expensive the model, the bigger hit in residual I think. Still, expected Murano to be above Edge.
