What is funny, I was talking with my son, and with the Sea Kings, they are switching to synthetic hydraulic oil because the mineral type oil is to costly With synthetic oil you also buy a filtering machine ( cost over $100,000) that can bring the oil back to original specs

Upside down customer of the month: Trying to trade in a 2008 F-150 for a shiny new F-350 diesel. Trade-in value is $30,000. Amount owing on the trade: $70,000+ How? I don't know. He didn't stick around long enough to tell the story. |

That could be one of Cord's Believe it or not. An angry costumer tried to return his Toyota truck and get a refund, dealership offered to fix the problem with the pedal and give him a loaner. The costumer just rammed into the dealership with the truck and blamed it on a stuck gas pedal: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/01/unintended-acceleration-or-angry-customer-toyota-driver-reporte/#commentsI don't think this will play well for him... |

Well, his insurance will have to pay to repair his car, I gather. Me thinks he just decreased the value of his own car. I wonder if it's verifiable if indeed the accelerator was stuck. |

Guess the dealership could sue him for destroying private property or something like that, but they still have to prove the gas pedal was not to blame. On the other hand, if the truck was in the parking area, I mean, close to the building, it would need way more than a stuck pedal to reach a sufficient speed to ram that hard into the dealership. I will keep an eye and see how it ends. |

I guess it's time to post a fresh one. Enjoy.
A guy came in with a Cadillac CTS wanting buy our newer, used Cadillac CTS. He started off by berating the salesman, telling him he’s been in the business for 30 years and doesn’t like how car salesmen make a lot of money by keeping their customers ignorant (his exact words). When the manager comes back from doing the trade appraisal he comes into the office, holds up his hand, and says to us, “You guys won’t believe this!” His fingers were covered in silver paint! When he opened the hood he touched the grill which had just been painted.
The sales manager then went to meet the customer. He introduced himself and said, "I'd shake your hand but I don't want to get wet paint on you." When asked what’s up with the fresh paint, the guy refused to acknowledge that the paint was wet. Even when the manager held out his silver fingers, the guy just repeated, “No, it’s not fresh.” Then he bolted out of the office and drove off. |
