It looks like one of those cars for which it would be worth kidnapping the head of TC ( or his kids) and holding them to ransom until he makes a special dispensation for a few thousand of these to be imported  some with diesel and some without.   A nicely proportioned sensible engined manual tranny Euro hatchback.

We may have more luck with kidnapping Mulally until he fires all of Ford NA, supplanting them with Euroford.

The "Euro Focus is cooler than American Focus" rant is the epitome of a pulverized horse, and yet I still can't complain about this thread.  I love the Euro Focus, and the North American Focus just makes me cringe.

I hope they are trying to bring the euroford here, or else how can you explain leaving the market with a cumbersome sedan. They must have felt the NA focus was doomed and didnt want to waste any more resources on it, thus dumping the design part on some high school grads. Could have done this IMO:

Dan Yanoff thanks for the nice pic, looks like my 2002. Except mine is not a Ghia and no appearance package and a few other items :rofl2:. I am sure you would appreciate this offering by Ford in Germany a sport edition of the 2007 2.0 TDCi wagon variant  :thumbup:

Its just silly they discontinued the wagon for NA. In Canada it seems they have sold more hatches+wagons than sedans, so how it makes sense only Ford knows; with buck a litre gas in mind, why bet on Edge and other "small" guzzlers when you can make the wagon with a diesel engine and throw in some appearance mods.

I was just wondering about that. Are there any cup holders between the front seats? I noticed there are no bottle holders in the doors. Nothing wrong with having cup/bottle holders but not necessarily the XXL size ...  ;)

there are 2 bottle/cup holders in the centre console, and two in the rear centre fold-out arm rest. No bottle holders in the side door cubbies.

This would be enough for me. I only dink small or medium coffee so they would fit. ;)

I LOVE the interior of the new Focus/Kuga/Verve(Fiesta). From the detailed pictures, the interior materials seem to be of good quality too.

I HATE Ford North America and until they bring over the Euro designs UNCHANGED, I wont set foot in a Ford dealership. :hurl:
