But but but Honda said that there are special Canadian incentives and finance rates and that's part of the reason why the Canadian prices are higher. This ad shows Honda's 1000s $s cheaper AND with 0% financing. how can that be?

But that's not the point. Yes its true that you can't finance in the US if you are from Canada. Heck US dealers won't sell you a Honda in all likely hood. But the Honda and many other manufacturers have the stance that Canadian Market pricing is different in part because In Canada they have "better" incentive/finance programs. They present the idea that the 8K difference in MSRP is somehow reduced because we are getting 5 K plus in incentive or financing that US consumers don't get. Its simply not true. Somehow dealers in the US can see the car for thousands less and with 0% financing and still make money. Canadian prices are not higher because of differences in incentive. they are higher because they can charge them (due to strangling the customers options). Its not a right to be able to buy a car at the cheaper price but I wish they'd stop throwing out spin that intelligent people can see through.Well, I'm not about to go down to Arizona to buy one. Are you?
