I'm surprised nothing was said about the transmission. I've been considering the A4 but since my wife can't drive with a manual transmission, I've been waiting for a review of an auto trans A4. Finally you do one and not a word for or against it in your article!
Also about the Special Edition version, is this something not showing up on the Audi website? According to the the options on the website most items you've listed as standard on this Special Edition version show up as part of the Convenience Package, a $1500 option.
