My first ever GM ownership experience  can best be described as   "Fool me once...."

What long weekend ???
Remembrance Day is a statutory holiday in New Brunswick (all the Maritimes actually I believe) It falls on a Sunday this year so Monday is a holiday.

Yup, to pick up a Honda parts order.

I figure 2 hours of my time is worth $600 in savings.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

What about the 5 hour wait at the border? My time is worth more than that.

Yep...given that the dollar is trading over 1.09 tonight in overseas trading I'd say staying away from the border on a holiday weekend (or any weekend for that matter) is probably a good idea. I can't imagine what the lines will be like in Calais-St Stephen this Monday afternoon :o

We're coming back Saturday.  I figure most are going for the weekend so Sunday and especially Monday will probably be busy... :P

I battled the border last weekend.  Buffalo saturday morning, just over an hour crossing into ny at the queenston/lewiston bridge, took just over an hour to cross, came back and made a u-turn at the border b/c the line was way too long and drove to the rainbow bridge, waited an hour and half.  Sunday went on a bus trip to the bills game, waited 2 hours crossing in at the fort erie bridge (whatever it's called), going home took 6 hours from the time the bus started, just horrible.

not worth going on a weekend, especially a long weekend.

On the news they said the bus from the football game got thought the crossing fast compared to the bus that had women shopping in the states.
I hope the cross guards are collecting all the taxes from peoples purchases in the States

I've never waited more than 10 minutes. Good try though.

Saved over $1200 since August. I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
