Thanks for the breaking news, Neil (nice to see you here again!).

Is it possible that Kia's simply taking advantage of the new budget announcement and will hold back registering the purchases until the reduced GST takes effect?  Is that Jan '08?  If the 'no GST' is the only offer on '07s that they're clearing out, I think they need to go back to the drawing board.  On most Kias, what's that, about a $1000-1500 reduction?  What's Mazda knocking off Mazda6s right now by comparison?

Nah, I don't think they'll hold back reggies.  $1000-$1500 is pretty good, the Korean stuff seems to be more in line with the US prices...  It's not the only offer, current incentives still apply, the Magentis for example is 60 months at ZERO, or Three grand cash, plus the GST.... that's pretty good...

Here ya go doubters!

Switched from Hyundai finance to Kia sales mgr last year, moving into a big brand new store next month.....

More news:  And puleeeeeze, don't ask for a link ;)

Now no GST on 2008's.

Huge news.

Cannot be combined with the no pay for 4 months.

Note, dealer cost is 1/3 of the rebate on the '08's only, so it $300-$500 is coming right out of the bottom line for your neighbourhood store, keep it in mind with negotiating.
