hi,

bill vance writes

"Fortunately for automotive history, that winning 1908 Thomas Flyer has been preserved in the National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada. It and the Italian-built Zust are the only known survivors of the race. "

thatīs not quite right. the german protos was brought to the "deutsches museum" in munich immediately after the race, and is still there. the "deutsches museum" is a technical museum in munich, germany.
