ahh yes baby is 9 weeks old now.  we got a graco but it only lasts maybe three and half months then we have to get a bigger rear facing one.   

You may be able to squeeze 6 months depending on the heft/length of your screaming bundle of joy. At 6 months I switched my youngest into a rear facing Cosco Alpha Omega. With the adjustable base in place there was too much interference with the driver's seat and it covered the seatbelt recepticles for the outboard rear seat passengers. A careful read of the manual revealed that "for smaller cars remove the adjustable base". This makes the seat very liveablle in the V70.

With the baby seat in the middle and base removed (secured by belt) we are able to utilize the two outboard seats with the integrated booster seats. Three kids under 6 in the rear seat and enough cargo room for a two week holiday, who would have thought a medium sized car could pull that off. .

I presume that there are many reputable child seats that fit euro cars like the V70 and the A4 but they are not certified and approved in Canada ?   
Seems dumb to me that a German or UK seat for example that fits in an A4 should not be allowed into Canada.  German and Brit kids get in car crashes like any others.

Congrats! I liked the Avant wagon! Especially with the current design!
I wanted it to be part of the equation to replace our 92x. But the only way to have the Avant according to wifey is "Get rid of your rx-8 too then....". 

Love it but not that much.... hahahaha

thanks ghost.  at first when my buddies found out i bought a wagon they thought,   hoho you are whooped now!!   you should have got a minivan !!   but then i point out my car and they give me the  "hey, that's coo........uh not bad!!"
