Ontario is different because we have the insanity in the GTA. If I lived in Southern Ontario it would cost me double to insure a WRX than here in Northern Ontario.
And BC has the GVRD.  ICBC's rates are the highest among the public insurance provinces but still lower than private insurance provinces.

I pay less in Ontario for both of our vehicles than I did (or will again) pay in Manitoba. It was nice when I was young, but now  :thumbdown:

I have zero moving traffic violations and zero accidents on my record.

Of course MPIC will charge about the same for a Mazda 3 or a Infiniti G35 (within $100).
