Luckily for me, most of the white scuff was paint from the other car and it rubbed off with some rubbing compound. I do have a couple of spots the size of a toonie where my paint is now completely gone on the side of my bumper but since it's plastic I decided to just live with it.
I had a nasty scrape similar to Wetson's - albeit much smaller - and just painted over it with a paint stick provided by my dealership. It's obvious up close but from 10 feet or so out, the casual observer probably will never notice it. One of these days, I'll get it fixed properly but for now it's just not worth it.
