Spark Plugs 2001 Civic
« on: September 13, 2007, 04:06:44 pm »
Hello,

I am about to change the plugs on my 2001 Civic and a friend suggested the NGK "Iridium" plugs.
Has anyone used these before and would you recommend them.

I noticed on the NGK website they have the Iridium IX and a Laser Platinum/Iridium.

Any recommendtions?????

Thanks in advance,
Doug

They come from the factory with NGK G-Power plugs in them. At $10 a pair the factory replacement is a good value, your better to stick with them. You can pick them up at Canadian Tire or NAPA.

I've got NGK Iridium plugs in my Civic now, and have no complaints.

Then again, I had no complaints with the OE NGK platinum plugs, or even the regular copper NGK's that I had in there for a while.

I'm with maritime - if the OE plugs are platinum, and only $5 each, then I'd say stick with those.
