I often don't like cars in pictures that I like in the tin, and vice versa, so I now reserve judgement until I see it. However, I think the Accord is getting too big. The TSX is a noticably tighter product and I think no Accord should be larger than that.
Exactly my thoughts, like to see it in person, but not fond of the pictures at this point. It is getting rather large for sure. Only slightly shorter than a Chrysler 300...

You know, I can't help but look at the new Mazda 6 and lament what the Accord might have been, had their designers not viewed a masonry brick as a laudable aesthetic goal. Instead of edgy, aggressive and exciting (none of which diminish practicality one whit) we get a blocky, derivative amalgam that looks like so many other cars on the road, it's hard to figure out who they copied: My biggest gripe about the new Accord is it's huge size - as in more than 4 in. longer than Altima or Camry - neither of which could be described as even remotely smallish cars. This thing is actually closer in dimensions to the Chrysler 300 than to its traditional rivals. Honda's take on a full-size domestic is NOT what I had been hoping for. Will it sell? Of course it will. The Accord nameplate all but guarantees it. But there would be about zero chance of them ever selling one to me. Now let's just hope the new TSX doesn't follow the same path. Maybe Honda can re-badge the TSX as a Honda and slot it between the new Accord and the civic. Mmm, a TSX For $25K anyone? |

The outgoing TSX as an Accord would be pretty cool. |

Accord sedan looks beautiful from this angle (except for maybe the headlight protrusion & lower front bumper) Awesome colour too. |

The more I see one, the less I like it - from just about any angle. |

Looks are pretty uninspiring, but I wonder if a fwd car of this size is really where people are heading? We already have the Charger/Magnum/300, the G8 will be out shortly, as will apparently a version of the Aussie Ford Falcon. |

The Accord keeps expanding. How much weight did she gain? |

I will be very interested to see the pricing once Honda Canada finally releases some figures. If you go to the US web site, the most expensive model is about $30K. I wonder if Honda Canada will continue to charge 25-30% more in light of the current exchange rate. The Accord is made in the US, so there's no opportunity for a smoke screen on pricing. |

In Honda-land, $30K USD = $37K CDN. |
