SMG is an electronically controlled manual with a clutch.

You mean, you still gotta depress a clutch when shifting gears? Then what's the difference between that and a normal manual?  ??? Sorry for the dumb question, I have been goggling this topic, but haven't found enough to understand :bang:

No it's automatic, like an automatic but it's got a clutch.
