Nice shoes.

I have an older pair of DTMs, and while they are nice, I was never really crazy about them: the sole seems a little hard, and not very grippy. I really have to pay attention, or else I find that my foot will slip off the brake pedal when heel-and-toeing.
I actually had an old pair of Nike approach shoes that I found made a much better driving shoe - until I wore holes clean through the soles, anyway.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that the Pilotis would make my heels ache after an hour or two. That was no problem for track days, but was kind of annoying on road trips. Very strange, not only because the shoes have a rounded heel (supposedly designed expressly for driving), but also because I've never experienced any issues like that with any other shoe.
Anyway, glad you like yours! Maybe I'll have to dig mine out of the closet & give them another chance. Maybe I just need to keep breaking them in.
