Black is Back -Subie Style
« on: August 18, 2007, 06:20:10 pm »
Ok here it is. The second new addition to the family that arrived home this week and had the required attitude adjustment made today to provide that sinister look.::) ;)

It's the Touring addition and for a brief moment today I was actually allowed to drive it - only because of the last car in the driveway rule and someone being too tired to move it. Yes the ride is soft, but the other half prefers it and it does seem soooo much quieter than the Forester. It's Obsidian black that has the blue metal flakes in it.  Looks mean.

Good looking black Leg for your other half. Congrats, Inco, looks like you did the wax and polish job already.

Enjoy.  :)

That's a beautiful and sporty-looking looking wagon.

Wow I had no idea Subaru had a wagon that looked that good. Happy touring.

An ordinary wagon is transformed in that gorgeous black colour.  The tint helps too.  Wow......

Thanks for the kind words guys and gal. We like it and it looks so much different with the tinted windows as opposed to the non tint.

For the technical folks that's 35% on the front two and 20% on the rest of the windows. To compare, I'll insert one of the rear without the tint - fugly!

I'll do some interior shots later if I can. Someone is out introducing it to the family today so I won't see it until tonight.

Snowy - the "regular rule" we imposed as part of my pre-retirement planning prevented that modification to the hood. As much as it goes like stink with that hoodscoop, the budget said no.

And Julie the Acadia was posted back when........we got it. But if you look closely in one of these pix you will see it in the driveway in position two - first car in and second car out. ;D ::)
