My office manager owns one of these, in black and yellow.  It's like it was pulled out of a cartoon and stuck into the real world.  Or maybe a full-size kid's toy.  That said, she sure seems happy with it.

It's a dinosaur (albeit, a very good dinosaur) targeted to an extraordinarily limited market. DC is to be commended for even producing such a limited-volume, anti-zeitgeist car (police and rental sales likely help keep the retail cost down). But buy one soon before the greens and enviro-crats regulate them off the road.

Pity that the 300/Magnums are not fitted in NA with the diesel available in Yurp. I'd be interested in one of those.

I saw the first Daytona R/T version last year at the labour day parade. It was black with black wheels and nicely accented.

For what this is intended for, nicely done. I don't like this particular colour though.

Maybe where you live.  Chargers, Magnums, and 300s are all over the place in southern Oregon.

These things are expensive....seen a few of them.  Lime green and orange with the matte black markings.  Not for me.

That thing is offensive in every detail and could never see myself owning one. I bet it is a hoot to drive though Wink

There are a fair number of the R/T Chargers here, even the Squeeze-me LimeGreen colored ones. That color, along with the Orange, really neutralize the muscularity of the Chargers.  Smiley Hemi power is very additive.

Chargers have 2 doors. Trust me I had a '72 with the 440 Magnum
I thought they (Dodge) where done embarrassing the name after
creating an early '80's OMNI based 4 cyl "Charger"/Tourismo
Nothing is sacred anymore!  Cry Huh Cry

What's next? a 4 door 'Cuda??

At least the Challenger is coming back with the proper number of doors, and a proper transmission.  Drool

This car, though...  I love it.  Not the colour, not the interior, not the lack of a manual transmission.  But it seems like it would be a great car to own - a big, bright, mean-looking HEMI powered car with power to spare?  I love the Daytona in orange or yellow...  but the green is simply unfortunate.

That said, I think this guy has a point: "This is for all those boomers who wanted a green Mopar when they were kids, but couldn't afford one."  Or those who saw The Dukes of Hazard and want one.
