Ja, so I'm here in Germany near the Alps and the weather is crap but the rental is great, BMW320 brand spanking new (2K on odometer) and the roads are fantastic. So I'm thumbing my nose to the west towards Canada as I'm cruising on the autobahn at 200km/h +, rarely below that speed. I'm wondering, does life get any better then this?
So I drive into Austria and they have increased the speed limit there as well since my last visit. Now it's 100 and 130km/h. Before it was 80 and a 100 not to long ago.
Why is Kanada going backwords with the speed limits?
I also noticed that traffic lights that don't get used automatically shut off, mostly in the evening. hardly any stop signs, mostly yeld signs and round abouts. Stop lights change from red to amber to green, like the Christmas tree at a race track. Have not seen an collisions yet.
So the Germans no how to conserve energy and enhance the flow of traffic. Like I said before tickets in Kanada are nothing more then a cash grab...right Fuzzy?
Off to Switzerland next week. Gee I think there speed limits are 80 and 120 if I'm not mistaken.
Hopefully I win tonights Lotto, I'll stay here.....
Cheers!
