I really like the looks of the CX-9, both interior and exterior, for some reason. Have to book one for a test drive later this summer. Still don't think the power is 'sufficient' for a vehicle this size, even with the modest power upgrade. Curious on the towing capability with the FWD/AWD system & the V6. |

If only Mazda had better interest rates than GM -but having the extra power won't corrupt. It's just going to make it better. |

I'm impressed with the powertrain changes.
The article notes a huge jump in MSRP for the GT, but fails to mention this is because $2,000 of that jump is due to '08MY having no GT FWD model (GT now std with AWD). Somewhat misleading.
It is a beautifully sporty vehicle. |

AVToller, you see the CX-9 zoom by on your walk? He probably went by 1/2 block from my house, but no, I didn't see him. In fact, I've never seen a CX-9 in the metal. Further, I always walk in the woods or up in the hills, not along the roads. |

I'm glad to see the MY08 CX-9 is not spoiled anymore by Ford parts. I hate the idea of buying a car with other manufacturer's major parts in it. If I would buy a CX-9 I would want something different than Edge.
The CX-9 is a beatifull SUV in and out indeed and the price is competitive for what you get. |

I hadn't been in a "big" to me SUV since 4 years ago when I rented a Ford EXPLODER...decent on the Hi_Way but oh wot a handful in traffic and particularly parking spots... think.Kingston town in the Summer.....like the KING KKONG view compared to my Millenia..But honestly that was it..... last month.had a coupla 3K rides in a New CX9 when i was getting servicing at the local Mazda dealer.(NO free coffee for me )..scoped around the "thing"...meh....it's a BIG MUTHA (to Me) but i bet the Mazda 5 could hold as much for half the price...not my cup of tea..chi..wahtever |

The seats in the M5 don't fold down as nicely to accommodate large objects. The CX-9 can seat 7, not sure if anyone will use that capacity. |
