What a strange selection.  I would not dream of owning any of them but not because they are deemed un safe by Forbes

Another "nugget" from the article:

Duh, tell me something I don't know   

So what does a list like this tell us?

Wonder what wing and Mr. Fuzz will say when they see their cars on the list?

I didn't see my car on the list...But if it was, I'd say whatever. I've seen dead people in small cars, I've seen dead people in big cars. When your time is up, it's up. C'est la vie.

The high-performance S2000 convertible has stellar handling and accident avoidance, and gets a surprisingly good five-star rating in NHTSA's side-impact test, plus a top five-star mark for rollover risk. But side airbags aren't at all available on the little, low-riding roadster.

So it gets the best rating for side and frontal impacts, from an institution dedicated to testing and reporting on car safety...  but Forbes says its dangerously unsafe because it lacks side airbags?  There are cars with side airbags that get worse side impact ratings.

Forbes should stop writing car-related stories before they embarrass themselves.  Or, at least stick to the ones they actually know: "The Top 20 Cars to Make Up For Your Erectile Dysfunction".

If I were you, Ross, I'd cancel my Forbes subscription ASAP.....

I think "Sunbathing for Beginners" has far better car articles and ratings...

The Ford Crown Victoria should have been on the list for having a gas tank behind the rear axle.  If I recall correctly, it's the only vehicle on the road that still does this.

Gee just about every compact car is on the list, guess we should avoid that segment altogether.  As a Mazda3 fanboy I would like to point out that everyone one them now has side airbags making it's position at number 20 a bit murky.  Hounourable mention should go out to the 2-door Civic which did poorly with side airbags.

Also gotta ask:  Is Accident avoidance abilities> crashworthiness or is it the other way around?
