Toronto; Driver charged with Careless

This morning a tanker trunk loaded with liquid sugar over turned on the 401 and burst into flames.  Drivers were slowing to rubberneck, one driver got out his SLR camera while he was driving, he used his left hand to hold the camera and his right to adjust the focus (while still moving in traffic) an OPP officer caught this guy and charged him with careless driving.  ::) GOOD!!!!! nail his ass to the wall.

Apparently others were taking pictures as well.

Also heard they were getting people for driving the wrong way on the ramp....this morning the OPP made big money  ;)

I saw it on CP24 this morning.  They actually caught on tape Cam Wolley saying to ticket the picture takers.  They also showed the people turning around to go the right way on the on ramp after the police showed up.  They were trying to avoid tickets.  It was frackin brilliant.

Not sure I agree with ticketing the people coming back up the ramp. If the ramp was closed (as stated by the newscaster) I would think that allowing people to come up the ramp would be the common sense thing to do. But that's just me.

When I saw it on the news the ramp hadn't been closed yet.  :)

The driver could have been at a dead stop and it was still a total disregard for other drivers and the situation unfolding around him.
