Some not so good pics of my new ride
« on: July 06, 2007, 04:44:08 pm »
Hi guys,

I shot a few rather crappy pictures when I picked up the car on Tues. One of the pics showed my soon to be ex-ride:325ci.

Classy looking car and I really do envy you. This morning the word from on top is Regal Blue Legacy as first choice and then black and then that blue. Legacy is all one color so that's what we get.

I think your dealer is in Markham? I expect ours will be from there too.

Thanks guys.

Compared to the BMW, the Outback drives like a boat. It is actually not that bad, but the BMW just sets too high of a std.

The Outback is two tone you know....you can always look at that.  The brown/beige combo is quite nice too.  ;)

Love the colour of the Outback!  Great choice - are you planning any off-roading?

Thanks guys.

I actually don't mind doing some light duty offroading. But this baby doesn't have low range/hill descent control. Not sure how far it can go though.

Actually my wife and I were thinking of getting silver. No more stock in the lot and settled with blue instead (the deal may not be as good if trading between dealerships is involved). it turns out to be a better colour IMHO. (looks younger)

That Outback is nice. I think that's your "dream car" right?

But wow, your former car was also somebody's else dream car for sure.

Thanks for the pics mp3butt, and congratulations!!!!!!

Yeah. Man what I wouldn't do for an E46 coupe... :(

Tangent: The E46s are only getting older and older, but the TSX is still so shiny and new....sigh. Will this wonderous time in automotive history never be mine to experience? Woe! Woe unto Chris Bangle! :(

I don't think I will ever get a coupe again, even a fabulous couple like a E90 335i.

30% of thim you feel so great driving couple; 70% of time you need to live with the inconvenience it brings. My wife was moving back and forth from another city the past year. Big chunk of moving was done with the 325ci. I basically called it the truck. I must be one of the top 3 persons in the province (possibly in the county) who made the best use of the coupe's trucking capacity! The trunk is small, but the opening behind the seatback is big enough to make it a passable "truck"

I believe a stick shift E90 sedan would bring  the same kind of fun.
