I've compared the US and Canadian prices, and the model that he wants are something like $20000 US and $27000 Canadian. When you factor in GST and PST difference of $6000 - $6500, that's worth 2 hour trip.
I'm hoping that I can find dealer that will do all the steps required in US. I know I have to deal with Canadian inspection myself.
Would you go through the hassel if you were in my shoes?
I would not call $6000 - $6500 savings a hassel. The process is very simple and paperwork is not difficult. Make the 2 hour trip! Use the $6000 - $6500 savings for a trip. The first savings from my US subie, I used to take the wife on a trip.
