Might be a dumb question but what's the difference between a loaded CXL and a Saturn Outlook? (Except $10K) Seriously though,I looked at an Outlook with a window sticker around $47,000 that seemed pretty well loaded to me. |

By all accounts GM has a good thing going with the GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. Now here comes another badge engineered variant. When is the Pontiac version coming? All this badge engineering will make each one of them less desirable. |

I have no problem with badge engineering as it gives us more choice, also you can pit one dealer against the other when you are buying |

I saw one of these on the street the other day. I must say it looked really nice, even better than the Acadia. The difference between the Saturn and the Buick is the interior and quiet tuning. Plus you get a better sound system. |

IIRC the exterior and interior of the Enclave are completely different from the Acadia/Outlook. So there's no real badge engineering here ... unless all the cars that share platforms and engines are clones. Caliber vs. Lancer |

Saw a new Enclave on the street yesterday, it looked HUGE !!! Yeah, the Outlook/Acadia/Enclave is an entire step above the Pilot/Highlander/etc in terms of size. I think they're the first truly "large" crossovers as opposed to "midsize". The Flex is the second entry into this genre that I know of. Does anyone else know of any that I'm forgetting? |

I took delivery of my 2008 Enclave a month ago and I love this vehicle. It is comfortable, roomy and luxurious, and yes, as quiet as they claim. I love the height of the Enclave - haven't got to jump in or out and haven't got to fold myself up to get into it. It is the first time ever that I have had complete strangers come up to me and compliment the car and ask me what it was. If that reaction is any indication then GM has a true winner with the Enclave. |

Good question - all I know is that the On-Star prevents Tiger from smashing the window in with his 9 iron so as not to get wet in a rain-storm. Boy - I sure wish I had his swing and money - but not necessarily in that order. |

Congrats on the purchase. Mind me asking what colour you opted for? |

It's funny how the shape of the vehicle and lower cladding change my colour preference. On the Acadia/Outlook I really like the brown, but don't find it quite as appealing on the Enclave. The white, silver, blue, black, red all speak to me more (they're just brighter - and if I could I'd be driving a banana yellow or bright blue car now if that says anything to you), but have to say that the Cocoa really does look very rich and is not a colour that's overly popular like silver. Here was a recent article about the Cocoa Brown Metallic http://www.canadiandriver.com/forum/index.php/topic,49200.msg413975.html#msg413975 Cashmere interior provides quite a sharp contrast and adds to the luxury ambiance. I think the Enclaves have killer styling for such a large crossover/SUV, very flowing and graceful. Sounds like you're excited about the vehicle which is great to see. |

And that, I think is the very essence of this vehicle - it speaks loudly it's North American luxury and quite honestly, is quite the package. What is the price range on these babies loaded though? Are we in Lexus or Audi territory? |

You will love your tester. It is very smooth and a very comfortable vehicle. You must drive it over a bumpy road to see for yourself how quiet it is and how it handles the road. I have the CX with the 18 inch wheels and I understand that the CXL with 19 inch wheels is even more quiet. THe 6 speed is super smooth. I believe that a fully loaded CXL with Nav and sun roof tops out at $57,000. It is my first experience with Onstar (my previous vehicle a 04 Avalanche didn't have it) and I recommend it highly. The hands free calling is crystal clear and we are new to Ottawa and have used the turn by turn driving directions several times and it works like a charm. I like the fact that not only does it display when to turn - it also tells me when to turn yet the voice isn't intrusive at all. A push of the button and you are connected to a live person that can get you out of any scrap that you may be in. And knowing that should we be in an accident that Onstar is immediately notified could mean the difference between life and death. And no, I do not work for GM or Onstar! |

Also forgot to mention that warranty. The Enclave comes with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty - the Acadia and Outlook only 3 years. |
