Uh oh, badge engineering.

Rumour mill.

Toyota owns only 8.7% of FHI, according to Automotive News, if a manufacturer doesn't have majority stake in another manufacturer, the units are not counted as the stakeholder's units.

They announced the 2006 rankings with this definition. Denying GM some Chinese units because they didn't have majority stake in that particular manufacturer.

How about "really stupid ideas that I hope are false rumors"?  Do we have a thread for that?  I mean, seriously.  Scion is all about appealing to hip youth.  What is LESS hip-youth oriented than a midsized crossover SUV?

Well to put a different spin on things, look what happened to Saturn now that they too have grown up. An Opel is an Opel is an Opel, until it crosses the ocean and has a different Vue and Aura about it. ;D

So what do you get when you cross a Tribeca with a Scion?  ???  Suggestions. ;D ::)
