08 H3 V8
« on: June 27, 2007, 12:44:47 pm »
It finally gets the engine it should of had in the first place. What macho guy would buy it with the 5?

If a guy needs a Hummer to prove his masculinity, he's got some serious issues (real or imaginary) in the my-weenie's-too-small department.

It's a useless engine for the H3. ::) Now it can go from red light to red light even faster when it's cruising downtown ... wooppi!  Seems more appropriate in the Colorado/Canyon if they can handle the power.

Not my cup of tea either. Someone likes these vehicles though as I see quite a few H3's and even more Toyota FJ's.

Actually, the Chevy Colorado is also getting the V8.

Why because it's a Hummer. I don't think it's any bigger than a Highlander or Pilot. So it must be the stigma the name carries. ??? :-\

Shemp, I noticed that you didn't add any comments here - you only quoted others.  Yet your total average contribution to the forum remained the same.  Interesting.  Now go away for a month and let's see if the needle will still hold steady at zero.

Yes and I'm still wondering if it's a good idea.  The Colorado/Canyon are compact-ish trucks and were designed for the I5.  Time will tell if the V8 is a decent idea or just an attempt to get more sales.

Trouble is, big engine in a heavy car whether it be Piliot sized or CR-V sized, is barely adequate.

I for some reason never liked H3.  I just hate their small windows.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D
