2005 RSX Type-S
« on: June 13, 2007, 02:38:18 pm »

Mods
~ AEM Cold Air Intake
~ Compustar 2-Way Paging Alarm
~ Tinted Windows

I bought the car lowered 1 inch on springs and an anti-camber kit, but didn't really like it so I put back in the stock suspension.

I'll post pics of my NSX as soon as I replace the ugly stock rims.

Very nice RSX.  You can photoshop different rims on to the NSX.

Nice car  I've always liked these.

Smart posting this one first, once the NSX is up nobody will notice this anymore  ;)

Also, time to trade the EL in for the CSX for a complete set of XS's.

I am in the market for a 2004 - 2005 TSX 6spd with Aero Kit.  Might take 3-4 months thought, looking for a private deal, not interested in paying dealer prices.

There's only a handful of NSXs in town...  yours is the silver one on Boulderwood, I want to say?

You seem to have been bitten by the Acura bug. Don't you have an Integra too? RSX type S is one hot hatch, and looks very sharp in that colour. Enjoy it!

I sold the Integra!  The Integra really got me into Acura.  I've had the EL since 2003 but lets face it, the EL is kind of boring.  After having the Integra for a year, buying it for $4300 and selling to for $4500, test drove a RSX Type-S, than bought one, than test drove a NSX, loved it, found a good deal in Califorina, flew down there, and drove it back up to BC!  Now going to dump the EL for the TSX.

Can't really go wrong with Acura (Other than the NSX ~ risky purchase, really have to do a lot of research), the oil change on my 2005 RSX Type-S at the DEALERSHIP (INCLUDING car wash and vacum) ran me $54 including tax.  How can one go wrong?  Cheap to maintain, cheap to gas 9L/100km, fun to drive, ridicously high resale value, insurance is a bit pricey ($1220/year), but other than that. Thumbs up.

I would much rather have a loaded Turbo Volvo C30, a IS350 and a Ferrari 512 sitting my driving, I just can't afford that.

RSX, NSX and TSX will do!

Nice RSX-S Ron.  Very sweet ride.  I made the mistake of taking out an '05 Type S when my '04 Premium was in for service...it has never been the same.

Great line up as well (especially once you replace the EL with a TSX).

Congrats!

Beautiful car.  I've always been a fan of RSXs and their Integra ancestors.

Nice collection of Acuras! I can understand wanting another Acura. I really like the design of their cars, the "personality" of the brand.
