Obvious advertising?  Hardly.  I was only trying to be a little more helpful by posting the tires in order of cost, in case mis3 wanted to factor in financial impact.  There were around fifteen compatible tires that I listed for him, with no suggestion to buy from 1010tires - only to use their tire size calculator.  You could've edited the post to remove pricing, but I guess that would be too much work for you, as would be maybe letting me know you were deleting my posts?.  I don't use ignore lists, but I will no longer be responding to your posts.

By the way, where are these "guidelines" you speak of?  There's no sticky in the tire forum and no apparent FAQ for the site.  Looks like your little guidelines render the site useless for information on buying items.

Edited to add that I could care less about your response, so you can save some typing.  Woohoo, less work for you!

Wing..

Who runs this forum??? I don't find what Squishy posted to be objectionable.. the fact that its another tire site I can see that Morty doesn't like it, but this is suppose to be an open forum for the exchange of ideas and information.. no where that I have seen states that this thread is owned and controlled by Morty and no one can post anything he precieves not to like or it will be deleted...

Now I understand.  I saw some suggestions of winter tires in one of the replies but then I could not find it afterward

It is helpful to include other tire choices so I can assess my options.

It is a valid point about the FAQ. I will post a few guidelines. It is about the free exchange of ideas, but we want to keep it that. Not interested in it becoming a place where everyone starts posting info about their business and how cheap their tires are. It is difficult to tell who is legitimately trying to help and who is advertising, so if we don't have any prices posted it limits this problem.

Can you suggest a few choices of wnter tires I can purchase for the rear?

In the case that I can no longer find Prielli-210 in 225-50-15, we all agree that the ideal configuration is to replace all four.   To save money, I still hope to keep the existing front tires (205-55-16).

The Pirelli is an asymmetric design, so you would want to pick a tire with this type of design.

Kumho KW17
Continental TS810
Hankook W300
Toyo Snowprox S952

OK  Thanks.

I hope I can find more of these Pirelli-210 come Oct/Nov.  Otherwise, plan B it is.
