The P1800 and the V70R ready to race. ... against each other?  :) $5
$10 on the 70R, even though the Red P1800 looks faster.

And both look very very nice.

That P1800 is sooo nice. Great colour too. If it was mine I'd tempted to slap on some aluminum rims from a later Volvo.

you should bring it out to the 2007 European Classic Car show in July.

Very nice, especially the P1800. The one I got rides in back in 1966 was blue. The red looks excellent.

I kind of wish I went with the red V70. Lots of titanium grey V70R's rolling around.

The P1800 is a 1970 and is an E. 4 wheel disc brakes and fuel injection were added that year.

I have been debating the future of the P1800. Once the kids get a little older I am thinking of vintage racing. It is easy to get 200 reliable HP out of the B20 and a refresh of the suspension .

I read some time ago of a man from USA that has a P1800 with more than 2 millions miles on the odometre. He said that never had to service the engine.

He said he was living in New York, met a woman and invited her to lunch, but weirdly he said he would pick her at 09:00, when she asked why so soon he said it was bc their were going to lunch in Montreal, eheheheehehehehe.

He also made many cross-country trips.

Is the P1800 supposed to have a Volvo logo in the grille/front, or no? I can't see one. Wish I could see it in person! Looks so clean inside and out.

Last week saw my favourite colour light mint green V70R on pumpkin  :fall: But any do the trick for me. Don't see too many 'round here.

Good eye. No fooling you. No Volvo cross slash in the grill but it is supposed to have a triangle shaped badge on the hood. It went MIA during the body restoration. I prefer the clean look now. The Seafoam green (green flash?)was a colour option on the earlier V70R's .
