Nice X/C. If the T6 rumor in the 2008 X/C is true it may possibly be a replacement for my current R.

Does the forum not allow you to already? I guess you could drop them off at photobucket.

Wow, looks really nice in the Titanium pearl, nicly spe'd, and the 4C is a grat feature on the XC70.

Are you missing the XC90 at all?

And any chance of pics of your wifes S60 ;D

The only time I'm going to miss the XC90 is when I need a 6 or 7 seater. Heres a quick shot of the S60, parked behind our Tucson. It got the Meguiars NXT treatment 2 weeks ago and it shows.

Got a call from the dealer today. The car inspector from Volvo would not accept the Nokian WR I left on the XC90 at the end of it's lease because they carry the snowflake and mountain symbol of a real winter tire; even tough it is a 4 season. I argued with the guy and his boss and they would not bulge. For them it was a winter tire and they wanted to charge me $600. for tires. Since I still had the crappy Michelin the car came with at home, I went back and they said they would accept these, even tough 2 were at 3/32 and the other 2 at 5/32.

So I got my Nokians back and they are now for sale. I paid $968. last fall and I will let them go for $500. 235/65VR17, 10,000 km. Very little, even wear. Too bad they dont fit the XC70...

In the end, it was a good thing they would not accept them.... I'll be $500 richer... ;D The rest of the car was fine, so they will refund the full security deposit.

Yikes the end of lease inspection is going to cause me to either buy thr R out or buy anther Volvo. The wife has put a few parking kisses on the rear bumper corners and I have lost a fob. They are going to want some $$$. :(

Have you though about the third row jumpseat for your X/C? Dealer or owner installed option.

Hi there,  I love the colour on your wagon.  I have a 06' xc90.  I have a few questions:  you said your wagon came with the compass on the rear view mirror? what package did that come in? we have both the convienece and luxury pkgs., on our suv but we dont have a compass...i kind of wish we had.   how do you rate the fuel consumption compared to your former xc90???  and do you feel the wagon drives better than the suv?

thanks!
Me, biased? No...
I only drive Swedish, Japanese or German.
Volvo XC90, Acura TL, and a BMW 323i

The compass is part of the XC70 convenience package. I tought it was neat untill night came. I feel the indication is too bright at night and becomes a distraction when backing up. My eyes would tend to focus on it rather than where I was going. I turned it off. The XC70 is still new but I already see a gain of 1.5 l/100 km. Once the engine is broken in, I should see 2 -2.5L/100 km improvement over the 90. I do feel the 70 has better handling, particularly with the active suspension that is part of the Adventure package. I do tend to drive faster in the 70 than I was in the 90.
