Yes, this very car, with just the phone you see on the picture. And I'm pretty confident the speedometer can't be seen as I've been riding shotgun too often lately ;)

Holy mackeral Dip. I didn't even get a chance to get back to read the thread. I keep thinkin' everybody's at work while I'm sittin' on my butt at home playin' with the computer. Not so.
I daresay I was a little surprised at your answer. Times is a-changin'. Then again, it might be a result of a huge driver exam backlog in the GTA.

I too am sitting home on my butt... working. Those email notifications are sure handy.

As for the backlog -- it really didn't appear as there's a huge backlog. We booked the test not too far in advance and had no problem picking the time we want. And there wasn't any line-up at the MTO office either.

Ho-kay
I guess the author who wrote the article in the Star not too long ago is as out of date as much as I am. Not a good sign. Anyway, I better let you get back to uninterupted work. See ya.

Interesting, I was going to say in the RX8, the passenger can't see the speedo at all!

I see the new Nissan X-Trail has the centre-mounted gauges also. IMO, that might be a negative in an otherwise decent looking package for a small ute. Hard to tell, though, they look weird but might be functional in use????

I don't think I will ever purchase a car with a centre mounted gauge package.  Hey!  Maybe we can put centre gauges on all those gas guzzlers instead of taxing them!  We can save the environment with oogly gauges!  :-)

Do the Runnots in Gay Pariee have center-mounted dials?….or is this strictly a Nissan artsy fartsy thing happening anti-alliance stuff…
