I had springs on my car that everyone claimed worked wonders, the car handled like crap at the limit and was unpredicable in some cases.
Changing the shocks and springs to a matched pair with proper damping rebound and compression transformed my car and made it umpteen times faster around twisties.
Not everyone's made of money like you and Snowman though. Some of us need to go with the cheaper fixes and springs did work wonders for my car. It no longer rolls over on itself the way it used to. I've already got the Bilsteins and supposedly thicker anti-roll bars of the "sport suspension" -- it was the springs that all the Miata-experts claim was the biggest downfall of the current generation car.
Rrocket... that IS looks sharp... but when I see wheels like that, I just keep thinking about all the time it'd take to clean 'em.
