Yes - enjoy it to the max. Now wouldn't that make for a great trip if you take it back down to Florida?

That thought is front and centre! ;D

"Just tap me on the head, if I overstay my welcome!"

Another 150km on it!

The break-in is 1000km below 7000RPM and another 600KM below 8000RPM. Hardly into the power band. Redline is 14,000RPM.

Took it around my usual twisties, it wasn't even breathing hard at speeds that would have some of my old crocks dragging bits or becoming seriously out of shape.

WEEEE!

Believe me, BigT... your ugly helmet-hair is the LAST thing I'm lookin' at with a beautiful machine like that in the picture.

I love how they've tucked the exhaust up under the seat like Ducati.

She's pretty.  Kinda mean looking.  Are you going to add more body bits to it?  Mods?

Thanks everyone!

Thinking of a belly pan. There are a few mods for the fuel injection system and CPU, but probably not for a year or so.
It really has more performance than I really need so not looking for any power adders. (At least for now! >:D)

Looks awesome.

I briefly considered a belly-pan for my old SV650, but I found that the pans never looked quite right.  As it is the four headers fill in the space behind your front wheel pretty nicely - much better than the single pipe coming out of the front cylinder on the SV.  That, and more plastic is never a really good thing.

If I may suggest something, go and get yourself some frame sliders asap.  Just make sure they stick out far enough past the fairing.  Best investment you could make IMO.
